The Faculty of Informatics at TU Wien is offering a full-time (40 hours/week) position as an Expert (all genders) in Public Relations and Science Communication. This is a fixed-term position expected to run until January 2028, or at the latest, for the duration of the associated leave of absence. Apply if you know your craft, thrive in an intellectually stimulating university environment, and believe that exceptional work happens when capable, thoughtful people collaborate. • Comfort with Ambiguity: Uncertainty doesn’t faze you. You can keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Independence & Collaboration: You can drive projects solo but are equally comfortable collaborating closely with others
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: You identify gaps before they become issues and proactively find effective solutions
  • Working Style: You are serious about high-quality output and deeply appreciate working in a relaxed, approachable atmosphere (humor encouraged!)

We offer:

  • High Impact: You are part of a Specialized Department ("Stabsstelle") that reports directly to the Dean. Your contributions are visible, valued, and directly shape how our faculty is perceived by the university, stakeholders, media, and the broader public
  • Environment: A stimulating international work environment in the heart of Vienna (4th district, near Karlsplatz). On-site work paired with flexible hours, remote options ("Telework"), and Benefits
