In the Service Unit of High Performance Computing at the Campus Informationstechnologie TU Wien is offering a position as student employee (all genders) in research/administration for 20 hours/week (Start from 15 hours/week possible) immediately. This position is limited to one year with the option of extension to a maximum of 4 years or until completion of the master's or diploma program.

Tasks:

  • Collaboration in the development and operation of Jupyter-based services for the TU Cookbooks target agreement project
  • Participation in the design and implementation of user interfaces
  • Support with configuration of cloud-based applications
  • Collaboration on projects in the department

Your profile:

  • Enrolment in a relevant degree programme in computer science; no completed master's or diploma degree in the field
  • Good knowledge of Git
  • Experience in web programming (Python, JavaScript, databases, REST, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team and communication skills

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade C of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 1,349.60/month gross, 14 times/year for 20 hours/week.
