Student Employee
in research and administration | 20 hours/week | limited to 2 years
At the Institute of Management Science, in the research unit of Production and Maintenance Management of the TU Wien is offering a position as student employee (all genders) in research/administration for 20 hours/week. Expected start: February 2026. This position is limited to expected 2 years, but no longer than the completion of a master's or diploma degree.
Tasks:
- Committed involvement in the preparation and implementation of research projects, in particular in the research thematic area of Deep Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DTI&E)
- Administrative support in teaching activities as well as in the supervision of students
- Organizational support in the delivery and coordination of workshops/exercises in the field of DTI&E
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks in the field of DTI&E
Your profile:
- Enrolment in a relevant Master’s or diploma programme (e.g. Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science or similar), or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Subject-specific knowledge, preferably with a focus on Deep Tech (AI), innovation management and entrepreneurship
- Very good command of German and English, both spoken and written
- Experience as a tutor is an advantage
- Strong team-working and communication skills

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade C of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 1,349.60/month gross, 14 times/year for 20 hours/week.
