The ETITFem is the women’s network at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ETIT). The main objectives of ETITFem are to make women's research visible, encourage female students to pursue a career in STEM and create networking opportunities.
In this context, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology TU Wien is offering a position as Student Employee (all genders) in research and administration for 20 hours/week to support the core activities of the ETITFem network. Expected start: as soon as possible. This position is initially limited to 1 year, with an option to extend to a total of 4 years, but no longer than until the completion of the Master's or Diploma program.
Tasks:
- Support with the management of the ETITFem web page and the social media accounts
- Posting the provided and approved content in the social media and web page
- Assistance with the organizational and administrative tasks related to ETITFem activities
- Committed collaboration in the preparation and implementation of projects related with the promotion of Women in Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ETIT)
Your profile:
- You are enrolled in a program in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (no completed master's or diploma degree in the subject area)
- You have organizational and problem-solving skills and want to support Women in Science
- You are comfortable working in a team
- You have very good communication skills
- You have experience with web page designing (desirable)
- Fluent in English and at least basics in German

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade C of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 1,349.60/month gross, 14 times/year for 20 hours/week.
