Junior/Senior Coordinator Management (all genders)

40 hours per week (or part-time 20 hours per week possible) | indefinite-term

At the department TU Wien Academy TU Wien is offering a position as Junior and Senior Coordinator Management (all genders) for 40 hours/week (or part-time 20 hours per week possible). Expected start: immediately

Tasks:

  • Independent collaboration in evaluation and quality management 
  • Proactive and independent collaboration in the new and further development of the TU Academy and the Leadership & Strategy research area of the Institute of Management Sciences 
  • Supporting the manager of the TU Wien Academy and head of the Leadership & Strategy research area - through independent and autonomous handling of assistance agendas (incl. SAP) and organizational activities and correspondence with stakeholders and the press 
  • Preparation of presentations and texts (German/English) 
  • Support in the planning, administration and organization of research, teaching and transfer of the manager with his research team (Institute of Management Sciences) 
  • Organization and support (personal supervision) of events 
  • Student/prospective student support (information events etc.)

 

The junior position provides for support/participation in all tasks.

Your profile:

Your profile for junior candidates:

  • Completed studies (Bachelor level) 
  • Professional experience in consulting, adult education or tourism desirable 
  • Initial experience in dealing with students, teachers and interested parties 
  • Experience in the online and social media landscape 
  • Excellent written and spoken English (partial working language) 
  • Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Coordinating skills (especially in planning, organization and control) 
  • Administrative skills (documentation, information processing)
  • Organizational skills, accuracy, customer orientation, stress resistance and flexibility as well as the will to develop further
  • Ability to work in a team, empathy, strong communication skills 
  • Holistic and interdisciplinary thinking and good handling of complexity

 

Your profile for senior candidates as listed above, but in particular:

  • Several years of professional experience in consulting, adult education or tourism 
  • Several years of experience in dealing with students, lecturers and interested parties as well as in the online and social media landscape 
  • Coordinating skills (management skills in the sense of planning, organization, control) 
  • Independence

Entry level salary for the junior position is determined by the level IIIA of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,699.20/month gross, 14 times/year for 40 hours/week. Entry level salary for the senior position is determined by the level IIIB of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 3,071.30/month gross, 14 times/year for 40 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
